Mr. You Jun was born in January 1966 in Macheng City, Hubei Province. Mr. You received his Bachelor’s Degree of Science from the Space Physics Department of Wuhan University of China in 1988, and Master’s degree of Economics from the Department of Management of Wuhan University in 1991. He began his service in the public sector as staff member of Department of Salary, Department of General Planning and Wages of the Ministry of Labour and Personnel. During this period, he was posted in Taiyuan Steel Company. Then he served in the Department of General Planning of the State Council as Section Chief, and Deputy Director. He then successively served on the positions of Director and Deputy Director General of General Office of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security. President of Institute of Labor Sciences, and Director General of Department of Rural Social Insurance. During his term as DG, he was posted as deputy mayor of Huangshan City of Anhui Province, until he was appointed Vice Minister in July 2015.
