Mr Perrin has been Director of the ILO Multilateral Cooperation Department since July 2016. Prior to his appointment, he was Director of the Official Meetings, Documentation and Relations Department from 2012 to 2016; Chief of the Official Relations Branch from 2010 to 2012 and Senior Advisor for Europe and Central Asia in the Office of the ILO Director-General from 2003 to 2010.
Before entering the ILO in 1996, Mr Perrin worked in the UN Secretariat as a member of the Secretariat of the Social Summit (1995). Prior to that, he had worked in the Office of the Minister for Defence, France. He began his career in the UNESCO Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean. Mr Perrin holds a postgraduate degree in Development Cooperation of the University of Paris I, the Sorbonne.
